We always consider it an honour when businesses trust us to walk them through a full rebrand, and Caledonian Insurance Brokers was no exception. We modernised their corporate identity while still taking care to honour their Scottish roots and keeping their authentic essence. We’re happy to say that Caledonian Insurance Brokers now have a stylish, modern logo that effectively communicates their strengths and values.
The colours of the logo reference the Scottish flag, while the icon design calls to mind the castles of the Scottish Highlands (while also subtly referencing the rolling hills of the KZN Midlands where Caledonian is currently situated). We used the castle as a symbol of stability and security (attributes ones looks for in an insurance provider). For a subtle nod to their roots, we also echoed the Scottish flag in the angled stroke between the castle and mountain icon.
Business cards are one of the most important marketing tools for insurance brokers, so we had to ensure that Caledonian’s new business cards did their job effectively. We utilised their stylish branding colours and accented their castle icon with copper foiling. We also made use of embossing to ensure their new business cards made a classy, professional statement.
